Covid-19 Update

According to the state guidelines, veterinarians are considered an essential business for your pet’s needs.

During these times, our phones are staffed to make appointments, answer questions and fill prescriptions. If you have an emergency after these hours, contact REACH Emergency Hospital at 828-665-4399. Please remember we have RX and food home delivery services available to you.

We recently informed you of our new protocols for safe visits to our office, and are reminding you of that information below for your convenience.

Although we are open, if you have been sick with symptoms of COVID-19 or other illnesses, have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or have traveled to a COVID-19 endemic area, we are kindly asking you to reschedule your appointment for 15 or more days or have another individual bring your pet if s/he requires immediate attention.

Office Visit Procedure

In order to ensure everyone’s health and safety, our team will be greeting you with a smile instead of a handshake. We have also increased our sanitizing protocols and are only allowing staff in our building. No sick staff member will be allowed to report to work.

Effective Immediately

For Appointments - We are no longer only curbside but we still offer it. If you would like to use curbside service, please follow these instructions:

Stay in your vehicle and give us a call (828-651-8868) when you arrive for your appointment. A technician will go over any history, concerns, symptoms, or questions you have regarding your dog/cat (just as if you were in the clinic) over the phone. We will then come out to you and bring your dog/cat into the building to have their exam, vaccinations treatments/diagnostics done. We will call you right back to go over findings, recommendations and to collect payment.

Food and Medication Refills - Please call ahead for refills as usual (828-651-8868). When you arrive to pick up your products, please call from your vehicle and a customer service representative will take payment over the phone. A staff member will bring these items out to your car.

Surgery or Dentistry Drop-Off - We will email you your pet’s surgical release paperwork and treatment plans to be signed and sent back. If you do not have this capability, we will print out a copy for you to have and bring to the car. We ask that you give us a call (828) 651-8868 when you arrive for your check-in appointment. A technician will go over any history, concerns, or questions you have regarding your dog/cat over the phone. The doctor will give you an update after the procedure and go over the discharge instructions.

Credit cards or Care Credit are preferred at this time, but checks and cash will also be accepted.
