Dr. Peyton Joyce - Veterinarian

Dr. Peyton Joyce grew up in a small town in southern Virginia.

When she was younger, she was vigilant of any animal -turtle, cat, dog, etc.- in need of rescue or a home. Years later, she knew the best option for her would be to become a veterinarian. She attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate education and University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Joyce enjoys the complexity and challenges of veterinary medicine. Her special interests are surgery, preventative medicine, dermatology, and client education. She is a Fear Free Certified veterinarian and looks forward to making veterinary visits less stressful for pets and owners.

Outside of work, she loves hiking and spending time with family and friends. She has an 11-year-old Springer Spaniel, Roxy, and a 14-year-old rescued cat, Ashley.
