As 2017 draws to a close, we reflect on another successful year of serving our clients and their pets. Our wonderful clients make our hospital great, and our doctors and staff give thanks to our members and clients for entrusting us with their pet’s health. From all of us here at Avery Creek Pet Hospital, we wish you and your family a happy and safe holiday season.

Avery Creek Pet Hospital 2017 in Review

2017 was again, another great year for us and our clients! To date, we have over 800 clients participating in our Wellness Rewards Membership Program, and we donated a total of $4700 towards our Veterinary Care Foundation. 1% of our rewards members' bills are donated by the clinic to the VCF to help provide medical care for families and their pets.

Thank you to all of our loyal members and clients!

Some of you may have noticed a few changes in our clinic. We’re utilizing fear free methods and tools to help create a low-stress environment for your pet. We want every pet to be as comfortable as possible while visiting our clinic. Two of our registered veterinary technicians are currently undergoing fear free certification to help your pet even more.

Dr.Kersten and her husband Andy welcomed their third child into their family this year!
We expanded our in-house laboratory equipment, which means we're able to have immediate laboratory results for sick patients.

Don’t Forget the Holiday Food Drive!

We are grateful for a wonderful 2017, but it’s not quite over yet. Each year we take donations to help a local organization. This year we've chosen to collect donations to Boxer Butts & Other Mutts. BBOM is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit rescue group located in Western North Carolina.

They are committed to rescuing dogs that are in dire need of help and often pull dogs from shelters who are on the brink of euthanasia. Many of those dogs need immediate medical care and are brought to us for medical attention. You can stop by our clinic and make a monetary donation, or if you are a wellness rewards member, you can donate your rewards money. You can also view a list below of items the rescue needs, and you can drop off your donation at our clinic during normal business hours.

If you would like more information about the Holiday Food Drive, the progress we made during 2017, or how you and your pet can join us in 2018, contact us. Avery Creek Pet Hospital is located near Asheville, in Arden, NC. We accept many different breed of patient. You can call us, or submit an appointment request on our website.
